Account & Subscription

Your account is where you manage the service; your subscription is what you import to use routes. When troubleshooting, check sign-in, app downloads, and subscription updates as separate steps.

Do I need an email address to create an account? Where can I download the app?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe; you’ll use them to sign in to your account panel and manage your plan, apps, and subscription. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. On all platforms except iOS, you can download the app after signing in, without purchasing a plan. A valid purchase is required to access the iOS download. Always use the app files and subscription links shown in your account panel; files found through search and subscription links shared by others are not provided by J6VPN. After downloading an app, you still need to get your own subscription. Installing the app and connecting to a route are separate steps.

How do I update my subscription link? Do I need to delete the old profile?

In your app, open subscription or profile management, select the J6VPN subscription you’re currently using, and update it. Then check whether the route list has refreshed. In most cases, update the existing subscription instead of repeatedly adding profiles with the same name; if you have several profiles, you might update a new one but continue using the old one. If the update fails, first check that your local network can reach the account panel, then sign in and verify the current subscription link. Reimport only if you confirm the link has changed or the existing profile no longer works. Before making changes, note any rules you configured yourself so you don’t lose them if you delete a profile. Never post your full subscription link in a public forum.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I change computers or add a device?

There’s no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so changing or adding devices doesn’t require a new plan just because of the device count. Sign in to your account panel on the new device, get the app and subscription for that platform, then follow the setup guide to import them. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean each device gets its own data allowance; when several devices share a subscription, keep an eye on the plan usage shown in your panel. When you stop using an old device, sign out of the app and remove any saved subscription details, especially if you’re handing the device over. If the new device won’t connect, check that the subscription imported successfully and the right profile is selected before considering another payment.

What should I do if my subscription link is exposed or I forget my password?

Treat your subscription link like a password: it’s an access credential. If it’s exposed, stop sharing it and sign in to your panel to see whether a subscription reset option is available. If so, follow the on-screen instructions, then update the link in any apps you still use. Changing your account password does not confirm that the subscription link has been invalidated; check both separately. If you forget your password, use the recovery options shown on the sign-in page. Don’t assume that recovery by email is available. If you still have an active session, contact support through a ticket in your panel. Never include your password or full subscription link in ticket attachments, chat screenshots, or public posts.

For import instructions, see the guide to finding, importing, and updating subscription links.

Connection Issues

Change one setting at a time and note what changed. This makes it easier to troubleshoot and gives support useful details if you submit a ticket.

The app says it’s connected, but webpages won’t load. Where should I start?

Disconnect the app first and check whether your local network can load ordinary webpages. Hotel and public Wi-Fi may require you to complete a sign-in step first. Once the basic connection is working, confirm that the app is using the updated subscription and the route you selected, then check your plan status and remaining data in the account panel. Next, try another route and test both your browser and the affected app. Note whether nothing loads or only one service is unavailable. A connected status only means the app has established a connection; it doesn’t confirm that websites or apps are reachable. If the issue persists, save the exact error message and the time it occurred, then submit a ticket rather than reporting only that nothing loads.

Why does an app still fail to use the proxy when my browser works?

Different apps can use different network paths, so a working browser doesn’t mean the client is routing all your apps. Check the client’s current mode and rules to make sure the target app or its domain isn’t set to connect directly. Then check whether the app has its own proxy settings or only reads the system proxy at startup. After changing a setting, fully quit and reopen the app, then repeat the same test. If the client supports a virtual network adapter or another traffic-capture mode, read its instructions and check the required permissions first. Don’t turn on several traffic-capture tools at once without understanding how they interact. When troubleshooting is done, restore settings that suit your everyday use and follow your organization’s device-management policies.

What should I do if subscription import fails, shows a format error, or leaves the route list empty?

First, make sure you copied the subscription link from your account panel, not the panel URL, an order URL, or an incomplete snippet. Avoid copying leading or trailing spaces, line breaks, or punctuation added by a messaging app. Check which subscription formats your client supports and use the matching import method shown in the panel. Don’t paste content intended for another client into an incompatible configuration field. If the route list is empty, update the subscription and check the error message, then check your network and plan status. When contacting support, include your client platform, the steps you took, and a screenshot with sensitive details covered. Don’t include the full link or submit your subscription to an unfamiliar online conversion service.

Still having trouble? What information should I include in a support ticket?

Sign in to your account panel and open the ticket page. Include your platform, client name, selected route, when the issue occurred, and the exact error message. Say whether your basic connection can load ordinary webpages, whether you’ve updated the subscription, what happened after switching routes, and whether the issue affects every app or just one. If you can reproduce the issue, list the steps in the order you performed them; this is more useful than a screenshot of a failed connection alone. In screenshots, cover personal information that isn’t needed, subscription links, sensitive payment details, and passwords. Add updates to the original ticket where possible to keep the troubleshooting context together. Check your panel for replies and progress.

Report reproducible symptoms, not access credentials. Before sharing a screenshot, check whether the address bar, profile window, or clipboard preview reveals your full subscription link.

Speeds & Routes

Route names, exit regions, and app performance each tell you something different. Focus on the service you actually use instead of comparing just one test result.

How can I tell whether peak-time slowdowns are caused by the route or my local network?

Pause downloads, cloud sync, and other high-bandwidth tasks on your devices, then compare basic access with the client disconnected and connected. If local webpages are also noticeably slow, start by checking your local network, Wi-Fi signal, or ISP connection. If only services accessed through the current route are slow, try another route in the same region, then compare with routes in other regions. Change just one variable at a time and keep the test consistent; changing networks, clients, and regions all at once makes the cause harder to identify. A record of the time, route, and app performance is more useful than a single speed test. Route performance can also depend on the target service’s current status.

How do IEPL dedicated lines, relays, and direct routes differ?

These terms describe how a connection is routed; they don’t guarantee a fixed speed ranking for every visit. IEPL dedicated lines, relays, and direct routes differ in their entry points, forwarding paths, and cross-border transport. Actual performance also depends on your local carrier, the target service, and the time of day. Start by choosing a region that suits the service, then compare page loading, app sessions, and sustained playback on your current network rather than choosing by route type alone. J6VPN covers 120+ countries / 210+ routes; check your subscription list for the available options. If a route doesn’t suit your needs, try another option and share the difference in a support ticket if helpful.

What should I do if a streaming service reports the wrong region or an AI tool still won’t load?

A route’s exit region is only one factor a service may check. Account region, payment details, device location permissions, app cache, and the platform’s own rules can also affect the result. Check the target service’s official region requirements, then choose a route in a matching region. After switching, fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an old session. If the website and app behave differently, check their proxy rules and sign-in status separately. A route label isn’t a promise that every account can access every feature or piece of content. Check streaming catalogs and AI tool availability with the platforms themselves; a network connection doesn’t replace eligibility to use a service.

What can automatic route selection, exit IP checks, and DNS checks tell me?

Automatic route selection reduces manual setup, but you still need to test the chosen route with the app you want to use. The toggle being on isn’t enough. An exit IP check can help show where a particular lookup request is coming from: note the result while disconnected, then compare it after connecting. This doesn’t prove that every app uses the same route. A DNS check can help you understand the domain resolution path; interpret it alongside the client’s DNS settings and rules. The location of the DNS resolver may not match the webpage’s exit location. If results aren’t what you expect, review app rules and traffic-capture settings one at a time. Don’t copy configurations from unknown sources just to get a result that looks right.

Billing & Refunds

Check your plan type, activation details, and order before troubleshooting usage, upgrades, or payments. Monthly plans and data packages have different data rules.

How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and how do I choose?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. If you use the service regularly and your usage is fairly consistent, compare the monthly plans. If you use it less often and want to pay for data as you use it, consider a data package. Think about your browsing, meetings, video, and download habits before choosing. Unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. Check the plan page and account panel for confirmed prices and included features; monthly plan reset rules do not apply to data packages.

When does monthly data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?

Monthly data resets on the day your plan was activated. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Check your activation date, remaining data, and plan status in your account panel; don’t assume the reset happens at the start of the calendar month. Before upgrading, review the change shown in the panel and confirm the new plan details and remaining time. Converting the price difference into remaining days doesn’t mean a fixed period will be added. If the panel shows something unexpected, keep the order record and screenshots from before and after the change, then ask support to check through a ticket. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire, so the monthly reset rules don’t apply to them.

Which payment methods are supported? What if my panel doesn’t update after payment?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Start payment from the plan and order flow in your account panel, confirm the order details and amount, then return to the panel after paying to check the order status and plan information. If your payment app shows the payment is complete but the panel hasn’t updated, refresh the order page and make sure you’re signed in to the same account and viewing the right order. Don’t repeatedly create orders or pay again just to change the status. If the issue persists, submit a ticket with the order ID, payment time, and a redacted payment confirmation. Never share your payment password or other access credentials. Available payment options are those shown on the order page.

How do I request a refund, and what should I have ready?

J6VPN offers a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, sign in to your account panel, submit a ticket stating that you’d like a refund, and include the relevant order ID. See the Terms of Service for eligibility details. You can include the payment method and order status to help us verify the request; there’s no need to keep testing routes just to apply. If you have multiple orders, specify which one the request concerns so it isn’t confused with a plan change or payment issue. Check the ticket reply and actual payment result for progress; don’t estimate when the funds will arrive. Never share complete payment credentials, passwords, or subscription links publicly. Keep any follow-up in the panel’s existing ticket thread.
